I just want to start off by saying "i know how much work it takes to make a track". I am just getting sick and tired of the same songs being played on the radio. sometimes i hear the same song on two different radio stations getting played at the same time. i realize music comes from the heart but where are hearts at right now. we can't make enough songs without cursing, without detailed sexual images, and without hatred of a situation in our lives. i think we should convert back to songs with less lyrics so you could make up whatever u think the song is about. now i know that sounds really confusing but we are talking about our real life experiences in our lyrics. i want to sing more about made up stories more than reality, we have enough of that on the t.v. now i know we talk about what we have seen and been through but that is our lives that we exploit out to public and i believe we could do a little better job of keeping that a secret. just remember we are making music, not resumes. we don't have to talk tough in our songs and represent where we come from, cuz we are trying to make this money to get away from where we come from. now i know this ain't my quote but "its not where we come from, its where we're going". where we are going is into the future and the future is our kids. our kids look up to us and we don't see them cuz we are standing too tall. we are the leaders and they are trying to follow, but we are leading them in the wrong direction. i hope this blog makes a change in someone and some kids, thats of course IF YOU READ THIS BLOG. peace
