the music i hear these days is allright. i say allright because most of it i don't prefer. i do appreciate all of the hours of hard work it takes to make a track, its not easy. it may take years of hard work and sometimes you never accomplish your goal. i know, i've been making music for at least 10 years now and i am only 27. there has been days where i just wanted to give up. there was many distractions during this ten year period that i wish never happened. i know now i am more focused than ever before and focus is the key. i know now that god has given me a talent to break down the smallest details in creating songs and i thank him. he also know that some of the music i make is not good in his eyes, but he knows this is the music people want to hear. soon, i hope, one day there will be less lyrics in songs and more music. i say this because the songs being made are too real and detailed. situations in peoples' everyday lives used too be confined and a secret. now songs have too many lyrics which provide us with too much information. sometimes that information can be good for us or can be devastating. i say this because most of the people buying our music are kids that are under the age of 25. the kids are the future and right now most criminals in this country are under the age of 25. now i know music isn't everything, there is movies, reality tv shows, the internet, and the press that pass on alot of detailed information. we as musicians can make a change. this government is getting rich off of kids becoming criminals in rural and non-rural cities. now when u can't trust a 15 year old, there is something wrong. things have changed in the past 20 years and we don't even realize it. we just don't have enough time in a day to socialize with these kids. well guess what we need to put aside some time, we have to find time, and if we can't find the time, than us as musicians must utilize our lyrics to show them what is right from wrong. i know my lyrics can be very offensive and i don't prefer them, but right now i must make songs like this to get my name out into the music industry. things are going to get better. i do hope my blog is very informative and helps us adults talk about life still, but we must make mention to the ones listening if what we say is right or wrong.
